What is National Pollinator Week?
Pollinator Week is an annual celebration in support and celebration of pollinators that was initiated and is managed by Pollinator Partnership. It is a time to raise awareness for pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to protect them. The great thing about Pollinator Week is that you can celebrate and get involved any way you like! Popular events include planting for pollinators, hosting garden tours, participating in online bee and butterfly ID workshops, and so much more. However you choose to celebrate this year, be sure to share your story with us by tagging @okiesformonarchs and using the hashtag #PollinatorWeek.
Pollinator Week in Oklahoma
In coordination with National Pollinator Week, Governor Stitt has proclaimed June 19-25 as Oklahoma Pollinator Week! Not sure where to start? Do your part to support the migration by attending a local event, purchasing milkweed and native plants from local vendors, and documenting your findings on Journey North, one of our favorite citizen science tools. View the governor's proclamation below, and make plans to support pollinators throughout the week—and beyond! Keep an eye on our social media accounts and events calendar for the latest, and continue reading for additional opportunities to engage.

Opportunities to participate in Pollinator Week are plentiful, and we encourage you to join in the fun!
