Learn how to find the right native plants for your landscape, strategies to design a space that is functional as well as beautiful year-round, and a season-by-season guide on management to keep pollinators and neighbors happy. We will cover a plethora of resources and specific plants, construct a sample plan, and explore successful examples of urban lawn-to-prairie conversions that avoid city weed control. Pre-registration encouraged, but not required at myriadgardens.org. In addition, local landscape architect, Connie Scothorn will be on-hand signing copies of her new book, Oklahoma Plants: A Guide to Designing Landscapes to Attract Birds & Butterflies.
