Urban Forestry and the Rankin YMCA will work with volunteers to plant milkweed and other native wildflowers at the perimeter of the community garden to provide habitat and nectar sources for local pollinators.
Volunteers should wear sun protection, comfortable clothing, and close toed shoes. Bring your Urban Forestry work gloves, or pick up a pair at the event! Urban Forestry will provide bottled water.
