Monitoring Healthy Pollinator Prairies

Sat, June 1, 2019
8:00 am - 11:00 am

On Saturday, June 1st from 8:00 am to 11:00 am we’ll be out at Crown Heights Park Wildflower Area to start our prairie monitoring project. We’ll be working on plant identification and data collection concerning water infiltration rates, soil health and structure, and plant diversity. We’ll also spend a little time cleaning out any undesirable plants that may have moved in. Come out and learn how you can become a prairie monitor and contribute to a new citizen science project.
