Monarchs will take over the patio for a day of fun and education at the Mother Road Market! Events include: 11am Story Time for kids with Tulsa Master Gardeners; 11:30am mock migration for the kids; all-day self-guided migration with 4 info stops; an Okies for Monarchs education “pop up” table (all day); and two 1-hr. Okies for Monarchs presentations by Mary Waller (state director) for adults starting at 2pm and at 3pm (in the demonstration kitchen). Come to the Okies table and borrow our adult (1) and kids’ (2) monarch wings for family photo-taking! Free milkweed seeds while supplies last for taking the “monarch pledge.” Learn about how you can attract monarchs and pollinators to your home, school, park or business.
